MSMT's 2015 season fires up on June 3rd with the heartwarming upbeat comedy THE FULL MONTY. This 10-time Tony Award-nominee is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and a raucous mix of razor-sharp humor and toe-tapping pizazz, not to mention the most highly anticipated closing number in Broadway history!

While spying on their wives at a "Girls' Night Out," a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo sees how much the girls enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated the men come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. They discover they're stronger together and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go."

MSMT is thrilled to be one of the first regional premieres of the Broadway musical sensation, SISTER ACT, on June 24th. This feel-amazing musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film features original music by TONY and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), and was nominated for 5 TONY Awards including Best Musical.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique personality and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.

The season continues on July 15th with the classic THE MUSIC MAN, a family-friendly story and six-time TONY Award-winning musical comedy that has entertained audiences since 1957.

THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef! His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian. Full of laughter and amazing dance sequences, the show is hailed by many as the perfection of the American musical comedy.

Coming to a village near you (Brunswick, Maine) to close out the season is Mel Brooks' hilarious musical comedy YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN on August 5th. With memorable tunes such as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," this show is scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment.

Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania.

With the help of a hunch backed side-kick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced... Inga!), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds.

Tickets to MSMT's main stage productions range from $43 to $70 and go on sale April 29th. Subscriptions to the full season are on sale until June 20th.

MSMT's Theatre for Young Audiences series brings CURIOUS GEORGE, presented by Theatreworks USA, to the stage on June 10th for three shows at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, and SHREK, JR. on August 17th, at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, with a special added evening performance at 7:30 pm.

MSMT is also offering two special Monday night events beginning with FAME on June 15th at 7:30 pm. An unmistakable title from the unforgettable film & television franchise, Fame inspired generations to fight for fame and light up the sky like a flame! This high-octane musical features the Academy Award-winning title song and a host of other catchy pop numbers.

On August 10th, everyone's favorite variety show, FOOTLIGHT FOLLIES, is back. MSMT's largest fundraising event of the year will grace multiple stages again for an evening of songs, skits and silliness combining the best of talents provided by community members, our own MSMT acting company, staff, Board of Trustees and surprise guests.

Tickets to MSMT's Theatre for Young Audiences range from $10 to $15; special Monday night events range from $20 to $40.

All of MSMT's performances take place at the Pickard Theater on the campus of Bowdoin College located at 1 Bath Road in Brunswick, Maine. For more information about show times, ticket availability and prices, visit www.msmt.org or call the Box Office at (207) 725-8769.
