Monmouth Community Players is proud to announce the cast of their final 2015-2016 season production of the Tony Award-winning adventure comedy, Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps, directed by MCP's Artistic Director Adam P. Blais. Performances begin on April 15th at the historic Cumston Hall in Monmouth for this madcap cross between a 1930's film noir spy thriller and a slapstick British farce.

The production will star Adam P. Blais as the dashing hero, Richard Hannay and Karen Lipovsky as Annabella, Pamela, and Margaret, the three beautiful women that he encounters during his action packed adventure. Joining them will be actors Bart Shattuck and Sean Wallace, who will take on every other character in the play. Noted musician Paul G. Caron has been commissioned to compose original music that will be heard throughout the production.

The 39 Steps also features a high caliber production team consisting of both new and familiar faces to the company, including Brandon Chaloux (assistant director/stage manager), Josie French (assistant director/publicist), Zachary Gagne (production assistant), Sarah Wing (stage manager), and Paul G. Caron (composer/accompanist). Jeanne Fletcher is the Producer, Michelle Handley is in charge of costumes, and David Handley and Adam P. Blais serve as Co-Chairs of Scenic Design.

Performances of "39 Steps" are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, April 15, 16, 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. on Sundays, April 17 and 24. Doors open about 30 minutes before each performance. General admission adult tickets are $14 and student/senior tickets are $12.
