The Kentucky Center Names New VP of Facilities

The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts will welcome Charles "Chuck" Schmidt to its team on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015. Schmidt will serve The Kentucky Center as Vice President of Facilities, overseeing daily operations, maintenance, security and safety, production, custodial and capital construction projects.

Schmidt brings more than 25 years of experience to the position of Vice President of Facilities at The Kentucky Center. Chuck's previous roles include production responsibility for multi-theatre performances, regional and national touring, national corporate events and leadership skills in strategic planning, staff development, budget forecasting, season planning, design evaluation, and implementation and contract negotiations.

"Chuck's expertise is invaluable to The Center," said Kim Baker, president of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. "His knowledge and experience will play a vital role in helping our shows and productions run smoothly and efficiently."
