Fashion is more than just what you wear. Clothing choices embody personality, and hold memories for years to come. The Carnegie will explore the meaning of clothes in women's lives through LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE November 5-20, 2016.

This humorous and touching play, adapted for the stage by Nora and Delia Ephron, explores the lives of women through 28 interwoven characters who share their memories of love and loss as framed through the clothes they wore. From prom dresses to miniskirts, the female obsession with black, and the hunt for the perfect purse, LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE cheers and jeers the idiosyncrasies of the female experience.

"Every woman has something in her closet that recalls memories from times with friends and family. LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, is a show based on those emotions," said Carnegie Theatre Director Maggie Perrino. "The show is perfect for a ladies' night out - it's funny, emotional, and shares stories that the women in the audience will be able to relate to their own lives."

Performances of LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE run weekends November 5-20, Friday & Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets are $25, $22 for Carnegie Members and Enjoy the Arts Members, $18 for students.
