“Tabletop” invites you to climb inside the minds of five avid gamers as they meet up at their local game shop once a week, seeking a reprieve from life’s harsh realities. With seamless transitions, we witness the lines between fantasy and reality blur. Hordes of goblins, the rising undead, or their own inner demons: who’s the enemy they’re truly fightin'? “Tabletop” begs a simple question. Are we seeking innocent entertainment or an unhealthy coping mechanism?

Raleigh Tyler

Raleigh was last seen on stage traveling around the country as a dog. Raleigh did lots of theatre when he was based out of NYC for ten years. They went to school in the basement of a Broadway theatre. He moved to LA so he could thaw his frozen heart (NYC is cold), and it's going well (LA is warm). He also enjoys pretty rocks, arts and crafts, his boyfriend, his boyfriend's dog, his boyfriend's roommate's kittens, his fish, naps, writing, and having health insurance through his job.

Skylar Gaines is absolutely thrilled to be rolling a new character in Tabletop: The Musical! Though normally found GMing long-standing campaigns in the comfort of their own home, Skylar could most recently be found playing Sidney in Great Age of Sail (PopKorn Productions), Bobby in Love! Valor! Compassion! (P3 Theater Company), and potentially Orin (and Others) in Little Shop of Horrors (Candlelight Pavilion) if your memory can extend to before the pandemic. They have toured long-form musical improv along the West Coast with their musical group lovingly named Deez Notes, and they're currently working through courses at UCB to grace the LA stage with irreverent character work and odd songs. Skylar also has a website which is just skylargaines.com, because creativity is for suckers. Despite Skylar's constant shenanigans, they'd like to thank their wonderful family and friends for their unwavering support.
