Photo Flash: First Look at Clear Creek Community Theatre's NO SEX PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH

The hilarious farce NO SEX PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH, opens Friday, April 8th, at the Clear Creek Community Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Peter, an assistant bank manager, lives in a flat above his bank with his new bride Frances. When Frances innocently sends a mail order off for some Scandinavian glassware, what comes back is Scandinavian pornography. The two, along with the bank's frantic chief cashier, must decide what to do with the veritable floods of pornography, photographs, books, films and eventually girls that threaten to engulf this happy couple. The matter is considerably complicated by the presence of Peter's mother, his boss, a visiting bank inspector, and a police superintendent.

Director Thomas Meek enjoys the fast pace and the writing style of farces. "As I've been working on No Sex, it's been hard to not laugh out loud every time I dig into the script."

Meek is "... also excited to direct these great actors into grounding those characters in a little reality to keep them relatable, which is key to the audience really connecting with and enjoying the show." The show appeals to both younger and older audiences, Meek continued, noting it's "going to be a wild ride!"

NO SEX PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH runs April 8 - 24 with performances at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30pm on Sundays. Tickets are $13-15. Group rates are available.
