Breakdown
NOTE: This is the musical based on the classic movie musical White Christmas, featuring the timeless songs “Blue Skies”, “Love You Didn’t Do Right By Me”, “I Love a Piano”, and of course the title song “White Christmas”. THIS IS A SEVEN CITY NATIONAL TOUR THAT INCLUDES DATES IN: BLOOMINGTON, IN, OMAHA, NE, LAS VEGAS, NV, LOS ANGELES, CA, SALT LAKE CITY, UT, SAN FRANCISCO, CA, AND SACRAMENTO, CA.
SEEKING:
Men and women singers. Characters are early 20s to early 40s. All types and vocal ranges.
The following features come out of the singing ensemble:
MRS. SNORING MAN/SEAMSTRESS
Early 40s. Middle C – high G. Passenger on the train to Vermont. Later, she also plays the seamstress for the show. Covers MARTHA: Once a musical comedy star, now the general’s housekeeper at the Inn. A winning, appealing character comedienne with a clarion belt voice.
TESSIE/ASST. SEAMSTRESS FOR THE SHOW IN VERMONT:
Soprano up to high F. TESSIE is Bob & Phil’s secretary. Covers BETTY HAYNES: The sensible responsible half of the upcoming song and dance team The Haynes Sisters. She has a beautiful, rich singing voice that matches her decent, upstanding principals. Must move well.
