Laurel – 35, thoughtful and bright, with girlish enthusiasm.
Alan – 18, a frightened child in hustler’s clothes.
David – 15, smart, somewhat of a wisecracker.
Ma – Arnold’s mother, a real Jewish mother. A fighter.
