CONTRACT

LOA LOA/LORT. Minimum $15 per rehearsal hour. $98 per performance

SEEKING

Principal actors of all ages, genders and ethnicities for Theatricum's 2019 (Outdoor Theatre) Summer Repertory Season. Local hires preferred.

PREPARATION

Please prepare up to three minutes of material, either one classical or contemporary monologue, or two contrasting pieces. Prepare according to your interest in our season. Please bring 2 copies of your headshot and resume.

OTHER DATES

A Midsummer Night's Dream begins rehearsals on 4/9, Coriolanus begins rehearsals on 4/11, and Moby Dick begins rehearsals May 1, these three perform weekday mornings throughout May, early June and again in at the end of September and early October. Weekend repertory performances run 6/1 thru 9/29. Enemy of the People and Skin of Our Teeth rehearse evenings in late May through July, and join the repertory performances through 9/30.

OTHER

Auditions will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, EPA will be rescheduled to 3/22/19.

Dr. Thomas Stockmann- A medical professional in the employ of a large, recently built municipal bathhouse. White

Mrs. Katrine Stockmann- Dr. Stockmann’s wife and chief confidante. Black. THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST, SEEKING STRONG UNDERSTUDY.

Patience (Petra)- The Stockmann’s eldest daughter. A school-teacher with a penchant for activism. Black or Mixed Race.

Julius and Tyrone (Ejlif and Morten)- The Stockmann’s young sons. Mixed race.

Peter Stockmann- Thomas’ brother, boss, and mayor of the town. White.

Old Badger (Morten Kiil)- A cantankerous old man, Katrine’s father. Black.

Horatio (Hovstad)- Editor at the town’s local newspaper, who is caught between a rock and a hard place. Black.
