Prepare a brief legit musical theatre song showing range. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided.

COLIN CRAVEN
Male, to play 10 – 11. Archie’s invalid son who is bedridden and has no company other than his dour uncle and servants. Although petulant and cruel on the outside, he’s essentially a tender, sweet-natured boy who wants more than anything to be reunited with the father he fears hates him. Strong boy soprano (A – Eb). FEATURED – JUVENILE PERFORMER

CAPTAIN ALBERT LENNOX
Male, to play 30 – 40. An army officer. Mary’s warm and loving father. Strong tenor (Bb – G). SUPPORTING

ROSE LENNOX
Female, to play 30 – 35. Mary’s mother and Lily’s sister. Beautiful, charming, and appealing, but also vain, spoiled, and a poor mother. She inherited none of her sister’s compassion or humility. Strong mezzo/soprano (Bb – G; optional B). SUPPORTING

MRS. WINTHROP
Female, to play 40s – 60s. A school headmistress who believes in strong discipline. This is a speaking role; however, performer will sing in some musical numbers. Strong mezzo/soprano. SUPPORTING

THE FAKIR
Male, to play 30 – 40. Indian mystic/servant. Strong high tenor (G – B). SUPPORTING
