Breakdown
Rehearsals take place in NYC for approx. 2 weeks, followed by rehearsals in the theater in Croton Falls, NY (Northern Westchester)
All Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm.

Early 40s from Belfast Ireland but living in England since his teens. A serious thinker and a Christian converted from atheism . He is beginning to form thoughts and opinions on god, and the meaning of life which he will later become known for and write about extensively.

Beatrice Hunsdorfer
Mid to late 40s. An acid tongued alcoholic single mother who wreaks a petty vengeance on everybody around her. Tortured , slatternly, frowzy.
Tillie
Beatrice 's sensitive high school aged daughter. A quiet, almost pathologically shy, introvert who copes with her difficult home life by immersing herself in science.
Ruth
Tillie's older sister. A brash somewhat confused adolescent . High strung, smart aleck, promiscuous and constantly anxious about her reputation with her peers, Ruth, suffers from fits.
Janice Vickery
Smarmy science fair finalist, Tillie's rival. The kind of teenage girl one loves to hate.
Nanny
Beatrice's charge, an octogenarian with dementia. Non speaking role.
