Preparation
Please prepare one contemporary monologues appropriate to the character, not to exceed 2 ½ minutes. Some may be asked for a second monologue or to stay for cold readings.

Please bring a picture & resume, securely stapled back-to-back.

African-American Male. To play 36. Looking for an African-American actor with a physical similarity to Martin Luther King, Jr. to play the real-life Baptist minister and social activist - “the lamb.”

MALCOLM X:
African-American Male. To play 39. Looking for an African-American actor with a physical similarity to Malcolm X to play the real-life Muslim minister and social activist -“the lion.”

RASHAD:
African-American Male. 30’s - 40’s. Looking for an African-American actor to play Malcolm X’s body guard and confidant.
