APPOINTMENTS

Please include in your email which days and times you are available, as well as an indication as to whether or not you belong to Actors’ Equity Association. You will be emailed back with a confirmed appointment. Please note that actors must audition in person in order to be considered.

CONTRACT

SPT SPT3; $344/week minimum.

PREPARATION

The audition will consist of readings from the script. Please bring a resume and headshot. Script will be available to read on website.

The Schmidt Vocal Arts Center is located at the corner of Rose Street and Rose Lane, across the street from the Singletary Center for the Arts.

Algernon Algy Moncrreiff: ROLE IS CAST

Gwendolyn Fairfax: Cunning and territorial. Female, 20-35

Cecily Cardew: Young and naïve, but not altogether innocent. Female, 18-30

Lady Bracknell: a formidable woman of tremendous social awareness and aspiration. Female, 40-70

Miss Prism: Absent-minded governess. Female, 40-70.

Rev. Chausuble: Proper and pious. Male, 40-70.

Merriman and Lane: Stately and stiff butlers. Male, 35-70 (will be played by the same actor)
