Contract is Conservatory Participant Letter of Agreement and Canadian Equity contract. Actor minimum $1130/wk for Equity contract. Only able to consider US applicants who are from Chicago, currently living in, or attended school in CHICAGO. You MUST be an Equity Member in good standing or have completed the EMC program to audition. If you are an EMC complete, be sure to bring your EMC Card and Completion Notice. EMC completes will be required to join AEA before accepting the contract.
SEEKING
Young professional female and male actors who have completed a comprehensive multi-year accredited theater training program and who show potential for, and are passionate about, classical theatre.
PREPARATION
Please prepare two monologues from Shakespeare plus one monologue of your choice; we may only see two pieces but please be prepared with three. Each piece should be no longer than two minutes in length. Bring headshot and resume.

PERSONNEL
Director of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Stephen Ouimette, and Casting Director for the Stratford Festival Beth Russell will attend with casting authority.
OTHER DATES
The 2016/17 Conservatory begins on September 13, 2016 and finishes February 11, 2017. Participants are then offered a contract for the 2017 Stratford Festival season.
