Breakdown
Seeking the following 2 roles only:
JESSIE
White Female in her mid-late 40s. Jessie is a salt-of-the-Earth, working class woman who has been on the floor at the Olstead’s factory since she was 18 years old – her whole life. She stands all day at the factory. Perhaps she has a heft to her from the strength it takes to work so hard. She gets through the days by drinking through the nights, and by maintaining a dry sense of humor about the whole situation. Our heart goes to her – she wanted more from life and it passed her by.
OSCAR
Dominican Male in his mid-late 20s. Oscar is of Dominican descent, born and raised in Berks County, PA. He works as a busboy at the local bar. Usually quiet, he is present, alert, and he listens. He is smart and methodical. He wants a better life than he has. The actor must be a strong mover with experience in stage combat, and be prepared to learn fight choreography quickly and accurately.
