SEEKING:

KING ARTHUR - CAST

SIR ROBIN - CAST

SIR LANCELOT - (Male, 30s – 40, all ethnicities). A Knight of the Roundtable. He is fearless to a bloody fault, but through a twist of fate, does discover his ''softer side.'' This actor MUST be great with character voices and accents, as he also plays THE FRENCH TAUNTER, an arrogant, condescending, over-the-top Frenchman; and THE KNIGHT OF NI, and absurd, cartoonish leader of a peculiar group of Knights; and TIM THE ENCHANTER, a ghostly being with a Scottish accent. Vocal range: Tenor/Baritone, Low C3 – High E4.

PATSY - CAST

SIR GALAHAD – (Male, 30s, all ethnicities). A Knight of the Roundtable. Begins as DENNIS, a lower class ''mud gatherer'' who becomes knighted and transforms into the dashing Sir Galahad. Also plays PRINCE HERBERT’S FATHER, a wealthy, brutish Yorkshireman at odds with his sensitive son; and THE BLACK KNIGHT, who is always ready to duel despite multiple injuries. Vocal range: Tenor, Low Bb3 to High Bb5.

SIR BEDEVERE – (Male, 20s – 40s, all ethnicities). A Knight of the Roundtable. An inept scholar. Also plays DENNIS GALAHAD’S MOTHER, a shrill, peasant woman; and CONCORDE, Sir Lancelot’s horse. No solo singing. Vocal range: Tenor/Baritone with falsetto – Low D3 – High G4

THE LADY OF THE LAKE - CAST

HISTORIAN - CAST

NOT DEAD FRED – (Male, 20s – 30s, all ethnicities). A sickly little fellow who, despite others’ beliefs, claims he is ''not dead yet.'' Also plays FRENCH GUARD, the condemnatory French sidekick to the French Taunter; and MINSTREL, who is in Sir Robin’s band; and PRINCE HERBERT, the hopeful and frilly prince who loves to sing, and pines for his love atop a tower. Should be very good mover. Vocal range: Tenor, Low A2 – High A5.

MALE ENSEMBLE - (Male, 20s – 40, all ethnicities). MUST TAP, be able to play a variety of characters, and be good singers. Strong musical theatre chops. Vocal range: open.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE – (Female, 20s -30s, all ethnicities). Excellent versatile dancers of various heights who are good singers with strong musical theatre chops. Vocal range: open.
