Rehearsals and performances are in Ithaca, New York at Kitchen Theatre Company. The production then transfers to Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY.

Brought to the United States as a young child, G was raised working class and speaks with an Americanized mouth. She is smart, funny and caring. She can also be combative. Her relationship with B is close, necessary.

B: Male, 18+ High School/College age; His country of origin is unknown, but he identifies as a person of color. B could be... African, North African, Latin American, East Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, West Indies/Caribbean, Pacific Islander, Black, Multiracial. Brought to the United States as a young child, B was raised working class and speaks with an Americanized mouth. He is smart, kind and cautious. He is very protective of G.

HENRY: Male, late 20s/early 30s; His family’s country of origin is unknown, but he identifies as a person of color. Henry could be... African, North African, Latin American, East Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, West Indies/Caribbean, Pacific Islander, Black, Multiracial. He is a first-generation American, born to immigrant parents. He’s studying to be a lawyer. Henry loves B and distrusts G. B’s happiness is paramount to him. He understands sacrifice.
