The Boss: 50s to 60s. Physically strong and sturdy. Competent.

Curley: late 20s. Short, a former boxer, strong.

Curley’s Wife: Mid 20s. Pretty, but comes across as a tart.

Slim: mid 30s to mid 40s. Tall, moves with elegance. Competent and confident.

Carlson: mid 30s to mid 40s. Heavy set, but powerful.

Whit: mid 30s to mid 40s.

Crooks: 40s to 50s. African-American. Has a back injury that leaves him in constant pain.
