Preparation
Please prepare a brief, contemporary Musical Theatre song to sing. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Breakdown

Synopsis: New musical comedy that follows the incredible journey of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs as they blaze a path from “garage inventors” to warring titans of the computer revolution. Before Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were household names and billionaires, they were NERDS.

Seeking for the ensemble/special chorus parts:

Phyllis/Other Nerds:
Female, 20s–30s; Plays a multitude of characters- ranging from the nerdy to the super hot. Comic actor with a great singing voice; very strong mover.

Thekla/Other Nerds:
Female 20s-30s. Plays a multitude of characters- ranging from the nerdy to the super hot. Comic actor with a great singing voice; very strong mover.

Herbert/Other Nerds:
Male, 20s–30s. Versatile and funny, nerdy, vivid physical type. Great singer and good mover; tenor. Also plays Tim Patterson, from whom Gates buys DOS for a few slices of pepperoni pizza, as well as other characters.

Dustin/Other Nerds:
Male, 20s–30s; Versatile and funny, nerdy, vivid physical type; member of the Homebrew computer club. Plays several roles, including an Italian Clown. A bold comic actor with a great singing voice; good mover; baritenor or tenor.
