1 Male Actor to understudy the roles CAL PORTER (mid 40s) and WILL OGDEN (mid 30s).

Please prepare a late 20th century or 21st century monologue from an American playwright.
Please bring a picture and resume, STAPLED TOGETHER.
An EPA will also be held for the child role of BUD OGDEN-GERARD (6 years old going on 7) on 1/4/14. See separate notice for that information.
Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

TO UNDERSTUDY THE FOLLOWING ROLE:
mid 60s – a widow who lost her son, Andre to AIDS 25 years ago.
Her emotional repression and disapproval of her son’s homosexuality have kept her from coming to terms with his death. (role is cast)
TO UNDERSTUDY THE FOLLOWING TWO ROLES:
mid-40s - a successful hedge fund manager who was Andre’s partner at the time of Andre’s death. A candid, straightforward survivor of the AIDS epidemic who now leads a meaningful and rewarding life. (role is cast)
mid-30s Cal’s husband. A writer. Has an easy charm and sense of humor.
