Breakdown

Set during the final days before the American evacuation of Saigon in 1975, MISS SAIGON is a passionate and powerful story about an American G.I., Chris, and a young Vietnamese woman, Kim, who fall in love, just as their world is falling apart around them.

SEEKING:

FEMALE ENSEMBLE
Characters are ASIAN; Strong mezzos and sopranos with excellent dance ability to play prostitutes, bar girls, refugees, Go-Go dancers.

MALE ENSEMBLE
Characters are ASIAN; Tenors and baritones with excellent dance ability to play barmen, officers of South Vietnamese Army, inhabitants of Saigon, vendors. Not all – but some will need to be excellent acrobats and/or tumblers.

MALE ENSEMBLE
Tenors and baritones with excellent dance ability to play marines, embassy workers, conference delegates, American tourists in Bangkok
