Breakdown
Audition Note:
If you are not being seen via a singing appointment on either April 19, 20, or 21, this is the call for you to attend. Because of the specific needs of this production, all singing and dancing ensemble will also play smaller roles throughout the show. A movement callback for some principle actors will begin at 6:00PM. This audition will begin at 7:00PM or shortly after.

Preparation Instructions
Please be warmed up and ready to dance at 7:00 or shortly after. Women wear character shoes with heel & bring tap shoes; men wear jazz shoes or jazz sneakers & bring tap shoes. You may be asked to sing after dancing. Everyone should prepare 16-32 bars of a traditional musical theatre song, preferably in the style of the show (you are welcome to sing something from Mary Poppins, the stage musical. Bring sheet music in correct key, an accompanist will be provided.

Seeking:
Male dancers who sing well:
To play Late teens-35. Dancers will play a variety of roles including Nelius, the Park Keeper, Von Hussler, Northbrook, and others, as well as dance and sing. Strong, athletic, trained, musical theatre dancers and singers proficient in tap and musical theatre dance. Acro a plus.
Female dancers who sing well:
To play Late teens-35. Dancers will play a variety of roles including Katie Nanna, Miss Lark, Miss Smythe and others, as well as dance and sing. Strong, athletic, trained, musical theatre dancers and singers proficient in tap (the female ensemble dance as chimney sweeps in ‘Step in Time’) and musical theatre dance. Acro a plus.
