MARY POPPINS
(Female 20-35) A nanny, with dazzling personality full of hope, and always means exactly what she says. British accent. Must dance well and be OK with heights and stage flying. [Mezzo with strong top, Gb3-C6]

BERT
(Male 30-40) Manly but warm. Has a variety of occupations and is a friend to Mary Poppins and the children. Cockney accent. Excellent tap dancer. Must be OK with heights and stage flying. [Baritone, B2-F#4]

GEORGE BANKS
(Male 40’s +) Father of Jane and Michael. A good provider but forgets how to be a good father. [Baritone]

WINIFRED BANKS
(Female 30’s +) A former actress. Loving but distracted mother of Jane and Michael. [Mezzo]

MRS. BRILL
(Female 50+) A housekeeper and cook. Intimidating exterior but warmth underneath. Barks rather than speaks. [Alto, F#3-D#5]

ROBERTSON AY
(Male early 20’s) House boy of Banks family. Lazy and clumsy but good-hearted. [Tenor, F3-G#4, Dances]

QUEEN VICTORIA/MISS SMYTHE/MISS ANDREW
(Female 40’s +) Miss Andrew is a former nanny. Overbearing and bullying with trumpeting voice. [Soprano with Alto belt, Gb3-F5]

BIRD WOMAN
(Female 50+) Sits in front of cathedral every day selling bags of crumbs to feed pigeons. [Alto]
