BREAKDOWN

KEN CARPENTER

(Role CAST) Age 57

NANCY CARPENTER

Late 50’s. Conservative Christian Nebraskan. Put together and contemporary. Warm, smart, funny, and attractive. Though stricken by Ken’s crisis of faith, Nancy is pragmatic.

REVEREND TODD

Mid 40’s. Kind, thoughtful, and well-meaning. Bland.

CAMMIE CARPENTER

80’s. Very compromised, physically and mentally. Dementia has reduced her to a near childlike state.

ASHLEY KOHL

Mid 30’s. Conservative Christian Nebraskan. Close-minded. Former beauty queen. Loves her father but baffled by his crisis.

PAT MONDAY

Mid to late 40’s. Smart businesswoman. An awful divorce has left her depressed and alone, trying to prove to the world, and herself, that she is still sexy.

TAMYRA

Late 20’s. Black, Londoner. Smart, sensitive. Guarded. Purely a business relationship with Ken until his guilelessness wins her over and they begin a tentative friendship.

HARRY BROWN

Mid 30’s to early 40’s. Any ethnicity. Londoner. An Oxonian with working class affectations. An angry young man who isn’t as young as he used to be. Opinionated and temperamental.

BUD TODD

Late 70’s. Nebraskan. Charming, spirited, horny. Bud’s cantankerousness and teasing humor disguises the truth: he’s an opportunistic asshole.
