Breakdown

Seeking submissions for the listed principal roles in HIGH SOCIETY, the opening production of Walnut Street Theatre's 2015-2016 Season. HIGH SOCIETY is the Cole Porter musical that is based off of the 1939 comedy THE PHILADELPHIA STORY. Talent will be seen by appointment only for this audition.

TRACY LORD
LEAD - 25-35 female. Strong Mezzo-Soprano mix. Sophisticated and a beautiful young woman who has the undeniable ability to carry a show - made popular in the film played by Grace Kelly. Described as a Bryn Mawr girl. Must also dance well.

DEXTER HAVEN
LEAD - 35-40 male. Classical Bari-Tenor to a solid high G. A handsome man between 5'11-6'1 made popular in the film by Bing Crosby.
