There are 2 Equity Guest Artist Contracts available for the roles of Adelaide, Nathan, Sara, Nicely and Big Jule. Please note the role of Sky Masterson has been cast.

Preparation
Prepare 32 Bars of a standard musical selection that shows off your range. Singing from the show is ok. You may be asked to sing a second selection.

Auditions will be held at the beautiful 450 seat Norris Theatre in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

Nathan Detroit: Male to play age 40-55, a feckless, adorable gambler. Good singer with impeccable comedic timing who moves well. Baritone/2nd tenor.

Adelaide: Female to play age 40-55, a sexy, comedic, classic showgirl and gamblers moll, seeking a dynamic female with great comedic timing. Not necessarily looking for a “stereotypical” Adelaide, bring your best interpretation of the character. Comedic mezzo belt.

Sara Brown: Female to play age 25-35, a beautiful, prim Salvation Army officer. Girl next door with a strong sense of adventure, seeking a wonderful singer with great acting chops. Classic musical theater soprano, belt or strong mix a plus.

Nicely-Nicely Johnson: male to play age 25+, a never give up kind of gambler, a walking talking Broadway comedy. Seeking men of all shapes and sizes, must move well. High character tenor to Bb preferred.

Benny Southstreet: Male to play age 25+, a gambler and classic side-kick type of guy. Seeking all types, must move and sing well. Character baritone/tenor.

Harry the Horse: Male to play age 25+, a gambler and stereotypical gambler/gangster, tough brute with soft heart. Seeking all types, must move well, will also double in some ensemble numbers.

Big Jule: Male to play age 35+, a stereotypical gangster. All height ranges and sizes will be considered!

General Cartwright: Female to play age 45+, a Salvation Army Matron, astute, upright and uptight. Will also double in the ensemble.

Arvide Abernathy: Male to play age 50+, Sarah’s Grandfather, loving, caring classic Grandfather character. Loveable Irish tenor voice preferred will double in the ensemble.

Lieutenant Brannigan: Age 40+, NYC police detective, your normal “Dick Tracy” Johnny on the spot. Will double in the ensemble, must be capable of carrying a tune.

Hot Box Girls: 4 sexy female dancers, age 18-30. Must sing and dance extremely well.

Ensemble: 8 people to play gamblers, missionaries, patrons and the denizens of New York. Males and Females of all ages who sing and move extremely well.

ALL ROLES REQUIRE EXCELLENT COMEDIC TIMING!
