Breakdown

DEAD DOG PARK centers around the story of a white police officer accused of pushing a 13-year-old African American boy from a 4-story window during a police chase.

Seeking:

Sharonne:
An African American woman in her early to late thirties. Lives in East Harlem. Single mother, fiercely protective of her child, suddenly overwhelmed by her current circumstances. She has a strong sense of self and she is not a victim.

Tyler:
An African American male aged twenty five. He has lived his whole life in pain but manages it well. He is capable of intense anger which usually remains hidden below the surface.

Ricky:
An experienced NYPD officer in his early forties, who is not easily rattled. He has a strong center. He is written as Hispanic but can be any ethnicity except African American or white.
