Breakdown

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
All please bring tap shoes (women with a heel is strongly recommended and strongly preferred) Men also bring Jazz shoes/ sneakers . Women bring character heels. Please bring an updated photo and resume as well as your book of music in case you are asked to stay and sing. Please bring an uptempo and a ballad in the style of the show. No pop, rock, R&B etc. Seeking all ethnicities.


SEEKING:

Male and female dancer/ singer/ actors:
To play various ensemble/ featured roles, 20’s – 40’s. All must tap.

Women
To play the ladies of The ''Zangler Follies'' - showgirls a’la Ziegfeld Follies. All must be strong dancers (with ballet and tap technique) who are strong singers and able to hold harmonies. Must be 5’7 and up in stocking feet – no exceptions. Female dancers will also be considered for Principal roles and understudies.

Men
To play the denizens of Dead Rock Nevada. All shapes and sizes and types. All have distinct personalities and must tap. Featured ensemble roles include MOOSE – A Physically impressive back woodsman. Ability to play the Bass a big plus. Part of a cowboy trio. MINGO / SAM – the other parts of the cowboy trio. Strong dancer/singer/ musicians. Guitar playing a Plus. BILLY – Deadrocks’ own “Billy The Kid” wannabe. A tumbler. Male dancers will also be considered for principal roles and understudies.
