Structured in 4 semi-linear scenes, CAUGHT is a provocative comedy that follows 2 Chinese American artists, as they engage with a too-willing-to-believe progressive public, NY publishers & art gallery curators.

Preparation
Please prepare one contemporary monologue of no longer than two (2) minutes.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

1st rehearsal: September 30, 2014. Runs October 24-November 16 (Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 7, Thursdays - Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2).

Male, Chinese American, 30s; must be capable of heavy Chinese accent AND no accent at all; must be capable of dramatic AND comedic character.

BOB
Male, Caucasian, mid-40s-50s; experienced, savvy, authoritative New York editor at a major publishing house.

JOYCE
Female, Caucasian, early-mid-30s; smart, eager, earnest early-career writer.

CURATOR:
Female, Caucasian, late 30s-40s; savvy, mid-career New York art curator.
