Equity actors, men and women, for the 2014-15 Season Plays.
Prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues. Total audition time should be no more than 2 minutes.
Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.
EPA for AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' will be held on 4/8 at Pearl 500. (see sep. notice)
EPA for THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and the Season Finale Production will be held on an upcoming date yet TBD.

late 30s early 40s- A successful writer, recently widowed. Struggling to move on with life and unwilling to give up his grief.
mid to late 30s - an actress. Very organized and capable. Recently divorced.
late 30s - early 40s. George's brother. Very outgoing, trying to persuade George to quit grieving and move on to relationships with other women. His humor and bravado mask the fact that his own marriage is troubled.
thirties. A suburban wife struggling with a lonely marriage. Jennie's best friend. Funny, self deprecating and clever.

A playwright who enjoyed acclaim early in his career but who hasn’t had a success in many years. Clever and acerbic, he uses language with a knife like precision. His sense of humor covers the pain of failure.
Sidney’s devoted, self-effacing wife. She remains supportive and continues to believe in her husband’s talents despite his lack of success. She and Sidney have been living on her inheritance since he is unable to earn money from his writing.
20s – early 30s
A young ambitious playwright who approaches Sidney to work with him on a play.
Handsome, charming and keen to succeed at any cost.
A psychic. Wild and gypsy-like. Brave.
40s-60s. Sidney’s lawyer. Business-like and solid.

his sister, 50s, glamorous and successful actress who goes gallivanting around the world. ROLE IS CAST.
an aspiring actor, 29 or younger, sexy, self-absorbed, Masha’s new companion.
lovely, sincere would be actress, early 20s, visiting her aunt and uncle next door. Star struck and energetic.
cleaning lady and soothsayer, any age, any race. In the original production, she was played by an African American actress in her late 20s.
