SEEKING
ADULT dancer/singers (18+) for the role of ADULT BILLY
OLDER BILLY / SCAB (20-30) Scab one of the few villagers in the small mining town who has chosen not to go on strike to support his family; while an outcast to most of the community, he still offers his support to Billy and others with financial assistance and moral support. As Older Billy, he makes an appearance during the second act and performs a side-by-side dream-like dance sequence of Swan Lake with younger Billy; must have ballet training and must be experienced in lifts and partner work, as he will work closely with younger Billy on this dance; must exude confidence and stature as a dancer. Must have experience in choral/ensemble singing and be able to hold harmonies.
Please note that AEA and non-Equity performers will be seen for these shows. We are looking for a very diverse range of ethnicity in our actors. All roles are paid.
PREPARATION
Be prepared to dance
Also prepare the following in case asked to sing.
• One (1) 16-bar contemporary musical theatre song in the style of the show
• No a cappella singing or tracked accompaniment.

Primary personnel involved in the season of productions will be the Garden Theatre as producer along with the Garden Theatre's Consulting Artistic Director, directors, choreographers, musical directors, production manager, and production staff.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
