Preparation
Dancers – men should bring kneepads, women should bring heels.
Also prepare 16 bars of a traditional up-tempo song that shows your range in case asked to stay and sing. An accompanist will be provided.

Former socialites, unemployed actors, capitalists down on their luck, & Eleanor Roosevelt try to get through the Depression with some dignity intact.

Harmonizing Losers (1 tenor, 1 high baritone, 1 bass baritone provisionally broken down as follows):

Actor- Gus, a large thespian of color (Bass baritone)

Writer-A real Jew who writes musicals. Wrote unsuccessful show called 'Romance in Hard Times' that’s been driving him crazy for years. Resembles writer William Finn. (High baritone)

Depression-era gangster fallen on hard times. Probably a little guy. Age, race flexible. (Tenor)
