Victor:
The café’s owner and sole patron. When Monsieur returns from the bullfights his wish is simple to die at his own table. Obsessed with Hemingway. Victor is 50 – 60 ish
Claude:
Professionally devoted headwaiter and married to Mimi. Has his sights set on Antoine. Claude is 35 - 45
Mimi:
Attractive and charming waitress. Her employment is unnecessary. Mimi is early 30’s
Gaston:
Head Chef. Frustrated that all of his dishes are going to naught and lusts after Mimi. Gaston is 50 ish
Antoine:
Stammering waiter-in-training with journalistic aspirations. More interested in taking down Victor’s life story. Early 20’s
Miss Berger:
The object of Victor’s affection, who set him spiraling into despair ever since their trip to Madrid 30 – 40 ish
