Breakdown

Libby is run over and critically injured in an accident. The driver, Anton, appears at her bedside. Libby’s recovery is defined by coming to terms with the man who hit her, and mirrored by Anton’s wrestle with his guilt and responsibility. The sharply defined stages of her progress occur within the context of their wary, forthright, prickly, warm, confrontational, and erotically charged interactions. An Accident is a visceral and emotional story about recovery, guilt, and forgiveness.

Seeking:

LIBBY: Female, mid-30’s-50’s. Quick-witted, pulls no punches.

ANTON: Male, mid 40’s-early 60’s. Divorced, teaches history. Introspective, kind.
