Seeking
Very strong Equity male and female Singers for Alpine Theatre Project's 2015 Summer Season. Threee shows running in rep. Chicago, Big Fish, Ring of Fire.

Preparation
Prepare a brief contemporary musical theatre song (32 bars preferred). Also, looking for singers who play instruments. Those singers are encouraged to come and sing with insturment of choice. Looking for guitar, harmonica, fiddle, accordian, mandolin.
Bring picture and resume.

Breakdown
CHICAGO
seeking:
Velma Kelly:
Age 25-45. Sarcastic, sexy, tough, funny. Velma is a former vaudeville performer who also serves as the hostess. She killed her husband and her sister after finding them together. Needs to be a very strong dancer, singer and actress. (belter)
Billy Flynn:
Age 35-60. Sexy, persuasive, manipulative, masculine. Billy is a suave, educated lawyer who can persuade anyone to do anything. Billy will take any case as long as it is sure to put money in his pocket. Needs to be a strong leading man who can sing and dance well. (tenor)
Amos Hart:
Age 30-50. Charming, funny, vulnerable, timid man. Amos is an average guy, not very good looking, not very smart. Manipulated easily, Amos is the only character in Chicago whose motives are entirely pure, never selfish and he's the only character who really loses ultimately. Strong character actor who can sing well. (baritone)

BIG FISH
Seeking:
Sandra
35-45 is patient, calm – the perfect balance to Edwards enthusiasm. She adores and appreciates Edward and tries to bring reconciliation to her husband and son, both of whom she loves. Needs a beautiful high mix voice and tap skills.
Josephine
(actor ages 20-30). Will’s wife. Successful adult, sweet, intelligent, and organically compatible with Will. Josephine acts as the bridge between Edward and Will, explaining the deeper meaning of the stories. Often on stage. No singing.
Amos
is the rather eccentric, quirky owner of the circus that employs young Edward. He also happens to be a werewolf (in Edward’s tales). Needs an actor able to portray strong, outgoing personality and humor. Character Voice/Baritone. Good stage presence essential.
Jenny Hill
(25-35) She has dignity and honesty. She is crucial in helping Will understand Edward and Edward’s motivations. No movement, but serious acting needed.
