55-60, an overwhelming capacity for love.

CHRIS KELLER

32, solid person, an All American who has been knocked off his pedestal a bit by the war. Capable of immense affection and loyalty.

ANN DEEVER

26, a gentle but resolute person who does not suffer fools. The natural feminine extension to Chris’ All American type.

GEORGE DEEVER

30, not Chris but always wished he was, paler, quieter, less sure of himself.

DR. JIM BAYLISS

40, wry, a sadness about him, self-effacing.

STORYLINE:

Miller’s breakthrough play is a searing and deeply personal search for morality with shattering repercussions. During World War II, factory owner Joe Keller makes a questionable business decision that costs the lives of American airmen overseas. His misdeed leaves his family fractured as they grapple with the consequences of his actions.
