The Delaware Theatre Company (DTC) has announced an evening of Broadway Magic with Tony Award Winning Actress Donna McKechnie and Tony Award Nominated Actor Malcolm Gets. Featuring their favorite Broadway show tunes, Ms. McKechnie and Mr. Gets will guide the audience through individual stories from their days in the chorus into the present.

This one-night-only event is the first time McKechnie and Gets have joined forces in a cabaret style performance. They are thrilled to be performing for the benefit of the Delaware Theatre Company and the Staff and Board of DTC is honored to be able to host these fabulous talents. Patrons will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and greet two of Broadway's finest after the show. In an effort to connect with new audiences during DTC's 35th Anniversary Season, the Theatre anticipates bringing more of these one-of-a-kind experiences to the tri-state area.

Guests that evening will have the opportunity to bid on artwork from DTC's recent presentation of Love, Loss and What I Wore, view personal photographs of McKechnie and Gets as they were growing up "in the business", and have an opportunity to have photos taken with the stars.

Donna McKechnie, the Tony Award winning star of A Chorus Line, is regarded internationally as one of Broadway's foremost singing and dancing leading ladies. Last season, she co-starred with Malcolm in John Doyle's Ten Cents a Dance at The McCarter Theatre and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Some of Ms. McKechnie's Broadway credits include: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; The Education of Hyman Kaplan; Sondheim - A Musical Tribute (which she also choreographed); On The Town; Promises, Promises; Company; and State Fair (Fred Astaire Award). She has starred in numerous regional plays and musicals, including Follies, Mack and Mable, Gypsy, Love, Loss and What I Wore, and productions in London's West End, Tokyo, and Paris. Bob Fosse invited Donna to play the lead in his last production, a National tour of Sweet Charity, for which she was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award.

Malcolm Gets is a Tony nominated and Obie Award winning performer, celebrating his 30th year in the Show Biz. Perhaps best known for his portrayal of Richard, the tortured artist on NBC's hit series "Caroline in the City", he has appeared On and Off Broadway in Amour; The Story of My Life; A New Brain; Merrily We Roll Along; Hello, Again; and many others. He is delighted to be appearing opposite Ms. McKechnie again, having played with her in John Doyle's Ten Cents a Dance at The McCarter Theatre and Williamstown Theatre Festival. He played Gould with Jessica Lange in HBO's Emmy Award winning Grey Gardens. He has also appeared in the films Sex and the City and Adam and Steve. He most recently appeared on CBS' The Good Wife and Blue Bloods. Please visit him at MalcolmGets.com.

"Having been a huge fan of Malcolm and Donna," says Executive Director Bud Martin, "I am very excited that they are willing to share their careers with us in such an intimate setting and fun fashion. Their talent has only "gotten better with age". This magical evening makes the stunning talent that has graced the Broadway stages for decades accessible to the citizens of Wilmington, DE, while at the same time enhancing, expanding, and supporting the programming at DTC."

"I am so looking forward to working with my friend, Malcolm Gets, sharing some of our Broadway stories with some beautiful songs, and meeting everyone at the Delaware Theatre Company," says McKechnie, "Thank you all for the gracious support you give your community by helping us celebrate the amazing work that is produced on this very stage".
