Yanni, contemporary composer, will bring his new live show, An Evening with Yanni, to Segerstrom Center for the Arts for a one-night-only concert tonight, July 18, 2012. The show will feature some of the music from Yanni's most recent album, Truth of Touch, which is the composer's first album of original studio music in almost a decade. This is Yanni returning to his roots with a live performance that will deliver longtime and new fans Yanni's music.

His live shows have attracted millions on every continent in the world. After an extensive world tour, Yanni is returning to the USA and Canada with this all-new show. It's Yanni performing his instrumental hits from the shows that have become famous around the world. Fans will witness Yanni and his world-class musicians as they take the stage to perform his instrumental hits made famous in his shows from the Acropolis in Greece, the Taj Mahal in India, the Forbidden City in China and the Royal Albert Hall in England.

This past December 16 and 17, Yanni performed and filmed two shows at Castillo San Felipe Del Morro, a recognized UNESCO Heritage Site, in Puerto Rico. The show aired exclusively in the United States on PBS and debuted March 3, 2012. The CD/DVD combo is available exclusively through PBS pledge drives.
