Noel Coward’s immortal play holds up well as one of the best-written comedies of the 20th century. A writer, Charles Condomine, searching for new material, decides to hold a seance in his home conducted by the local eccentric medium, Madame Arcati. During the seance, she accidently conjures up his first wife, Elvira. Comic mayhem ensues as Charles tries to juggle Elvira’s ghostly appearances with the growing mental anguish of his current wife, Ruth.
