Jerusalem - Israel-Quartet
In 2000 they were for the first time in Bogota within the programming of the Banco de la República, and returned the following year. In the season 2013/14 concentrated on running the fifteen Shostakovich string quartets and made complete cycles of these works in London, Hamburg and Brussels in concerts that included works by Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven, as well as world premieres of the quartets of Briton Brian Elias. At the beginning of 2014 launched his recording with the quartets of Janacek and Smetana. The 2015/16 season marks the 20th anniversary of the Jerusalem String Quartet. His recordings have received prestigious awards as a Diapason d'Or, the prize of the BBC Music Magazine in the category of Chamber music and an ECHO klassik German.
