On Friday, September 8, join us for an exclusive 45-minute performance of YOUNG ABE LINCOLN presented by TCT On Tour, the touring division of The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati.

Abraham Lincoln will be remembered as the 16th President of the United States, the man who abolished slavery and for having the most memorable beard/hat combo of any president. But how did Abe become the influential politician beloved by so many? TCT On Tour retraces the steps of Abe Lincoln's early life in Southern Indiana.

The production was written by Ken Jones, Jamey Strawn and Christine Jones with music and lyrics by Jamey Strawn and Christine Jones. The writing trio previously crafted TCT's 2016 wildly-successful "Snow White and the Dancing Dwarfs" production, and the 2013 holiday show, "The Day Before Christmas" as well as other successful productions including: "Burgertown," "CHURCH GIRLS, Umatilla USA," and "LINCOLN: A Pioneer Tale." The show is directed by TCT's own Jay Goodlett.

YOUNG ABE LINCOLN is most enjoyed by those in grades 3-12 and will be presented on Friday, September 8 at 12:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets are just $10 ($13 on the day of the show) and are available through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000 and www.ticketmaster.com. The show will be performed on the Ralph and Patricia Corbett Showtime Stage, 4015 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227.

Only 152 seats and a limited number of lap passes are available for each performance.

TCT On Tour is bringing the production of YOUNG ABE LINCOLN to schools and venues around the Tri-State and throughout the region from September through November 7. If you're interested in booking, please contact Violet Webster at 513-569-8080 x20 or by emailing violet.webster@tctcincinnati.com.

TCT On Tour is sponsored by Macy's, The Patricia A. Corbett Trust, and Mercy Health Foundation. The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati is supported by the Ohio Arts Council and the generosity of more than 40,000 contributors to the ArtsWave Community Campaign.
