Based on an actual June 23, 1992 Weekly World News story about a half-boy, half-bat, this b-movie themed musical has quickly gathered a huge cult following. After Bat Boy's discovery in a cave in rural West Virginia, the local sheriff brings the boy to the home of the local veterinarian. Bat Boy is soon accepted in the Parker family and raised by the Doctors’ wife and daughter-Things get more complicated when the daughter and Bat Boy fall in love and the plot continues to thicken-the entire town is ultimately turned upside down by someone just because they are different...
