On the October 10th episode of the ABC comedy MODERN FAMILY titled "Snip", Phil and Claire have a five-year plan, and that's to vacation and enjoy life once Luke leaves for college. In order to keep all that on track, Phil is going in for a vasectomy. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria disagree about whether or not to find out the sex of the baby; Gloria is in denial about needing maternity clothes; and now that Lily's in kindergarten, Mitchell tries to gently steer Cameron towards a part-time job to occupy all his extra time. The episode airs WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Get a sneak peek below!

"Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill as Jay, Julie Bowen as Claire, Ty Burrell as Phil, Sofía Vergara as Gloria, JESSE TYLER Ferguson as Mitchell, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, SARAH HYLANd as Haley, Nolan Gould as Luke, Ariel Winter as Alex, Rico Rodriguez as Manny and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons as Lily.

Guest cast includes Kevin Daniels as Longinus, ERIN NOBLE as Dr. Barksdale, Edward Tournier as Jeoux, Jocelyn Ayanna as Receptionist, Steve Lewis as Bent Over Ma, Emma Bateman as Skylar and AMY MOTTA as Chrissy.

"Snip" was written by Danny Zuker and directed by Gail Mancuso.
