After receiving the lowest number of votes on the Top 7 results show on last night's AMERICAN IDOL, BurNell Taylor sang for survival. It was up to the judges to use their sole "save of the season" to keep him in the competition. Unfortunately for the 19-year-old from New Orleans, LA, who sang "You Give Love A Bad Name" by Bon Jovi on Wednesday's Classic Rock-themed performance show, was eliminated from the competition.

Below, check out Taylor's final performance as well as a final look back on his journey with the show!

Next week, on Wednesday, April 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 6 - Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller - return to perform for America's votes. Each finalist will perform two songs, including "A Song I Wish I Had Written."

On the next live results show airing Thursday, April 11 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), tune in to find out which of your favorite finalists will be sent home. Plus, multi-platinum-selling artist, and the very first American Idol ever, Kelly Clarkson, will perform her new single, "People Like Us."
