Selection Phase on Telemundo's YO SOY EL ARTISTA Concludes 10/12

The selection phase of Telemundo's mega-reality "Yo Soy el Artista" (I Am the Artist) comes to an end in an episode full of emotions at "El Hangar" this Sunday, October, 12at 8pm/7c. After intense singing, dancing and performance challenges, Lucero, Olga Tañon, Laura Flores and internationally acclaimed choreographer Javier "Poty" Castillo, as well as other celebrity guests, will announce the group of talented contestants chosen to attend the Escuela de Artistas (Artist's School) to compete in the upcoming Galas phase. Beginning this Sunday, the audience will have the unique opportunity to choose one out of three participants "at risk" to be part of the 14 candidates that will compete during the Galas, where they will perform every Sunday in front of the judges, a live audience and TV viewers, who will ultimately decide who is selected as the "Yo Soy el Artista" winner.

After each weekly show, viewers can continue to enjoy the excitement of the competition with "Suelta La Sopa Extra" (10pm/9c), THE AFTER show hosted by Jorge Bernal.

Telemundo and Reset TV have partnered in the ownership, development, production and international distribution of "Yo Soy el Artista," whose format is based on an original concept by the founders of Reset TV, Toni Cruz and Josep María Mainat, the creators of such successful entertainment formats as "Crónicas Marcianas," "Mira Quién Baila" and "Operación Triunfo."
