Season Finale of NBC's THE VOICE Jumps +33% Week-to-Week

The season finale of "The Voice" (2.8/9 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 for the night among Big 4 telecasts in adults 18-49 and also ranked #1 or tied for #1 for the night on the Big 4 in adults and men 18-34; adults, men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54.

"The Voice" jumped +33% week to week in adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.1) and by +24% in total viewers (11.357 million vs. 9.138 million).

"The Voice" grew +65% versus NBC's time-period average this season in 18-49 (2.8 vs. 1.7).

Last night's finale delivered the top Tuesday "Voice" results since March 24 in 18-49 and total viewers (2.8 in 18-49, 11.619 million viewers overall).

Versus the year-ago finale, "The Voice" held 85% in 18-49 (2.8 vs. 3.3) and retained 98% in total viewers in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings (11.357 million vs. 11.565 million).

"The Voice" will generate significant additional viewership via time-shifting -- Originals of Tuesday's "Voice" have grown by +25% in 18-49 rating this season (from a 3.24 to a 4.04) and more than 2.0 million viewers overall (12.3 million to 14.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

A recap edition of "The Voice" averaged a 1.6/6 in 18-49 and 7.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 4.9/12; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 1.0/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (2.0/7). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
