NBC has clinched first place for the full 52-week 2015-16 primetime and late-night ratings season in adults 18-49, as well as adults 25-54 and all other key demographics. It's the network's third consecutive 52-week primetime victory in 18-49 and 25-54.

The NBC win in 18-49 and 25-54 stands with or without the network's August boost from the Rio Olympic Games, even given the lift CBS received this season from February's Super Bowl.

NBC also ranks #1 for the season in 18-49 viewers and 25-54 viewers when all sports programming is excluded. NBC won the race with non-sports entertainment programming two seasons ago in 18-49, but this year also adds the 25-54 demo to that measure.

In "most current" ratings from Nielsen Media Research through Sept. 11, with one week left to count in the 52-week season, NBC is averaging a 2.21 rating in adults 18-49 and a 2.83 rating in adults 25-54 to rank #1 for the season in both measures with margins that are certain to stand when full 52-week averages are reported by Nielsen next week.

NBC ranks #1 for the season in key demographics across the board - adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 18-34; and adults, men and women 25-54. In total viewers, NBC ranks #2 and is delivering its most-watched season in eight years (with 8.4 million persons, best for NBC through 51 weeks since an 8.5 million average in 2007-08).

Taking NBC's boost from this summer's Olympic Games out of the network's averages, NBC still wins the season in 18-49 (with a 1.97 rating for NBC excluding its Olympic nights vs. a 1.86 for #2 CBS, including its Super Bowl) and 25-54 (2.55 vs. CBS's 2.51).
