"Late Night" followed with 1.712 million viewers, second best for Meyers since the week of Jan. 18-22 (1.717 million), trailing over that span only the prior week's 1.725 million.

Thursday's edition of "Tonight," following a high-rated NFL PRIMETIME game, averaged a 1.19 rating in adults 18-49, making it Fallon's second highest-rated night of the season behind only the 1.48 of Thanksgiving evening. Also last Thursday, "Late Night" averaged a 0.68 in 18-49 and 1.991 million viewers overall, both second best for Meyers this season behind only the 0.76 in 18-49 and 2.170 million viewers on Thanksgiving night.

The Dec. 19-23 week concluded Nielsen's fourth quarter, with Fallon and Meyers winning their time periods versus the ABC and CBS competition for the quarter in every key measure.
