NBC UNIVERSO, the modern sports and entertainment cable channel for Latinos, will exclusively telecast two CONCACAF second-round qualifying matches for national teams looking to compete at the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018TM tournament. This Thurs., June 11, the El Salvador national team will take on St Kitts & Nevis at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. On Fri., June 12, Guatemala will play Bermuda at 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT. These games will mark the first time that Central American CONCACAF FIFA World Cup™ qualifying matches will be widely available on cable television in the United States.

Subscribers can also live stream these matches on the NBC UNIVERSO NOW app, as well as on NBCUNIVERSO.com, NBCDeportes.com and the NBC DEPORTES EN VIVO EXTRA app.

The two Central American countries - El Salvador and Guatemala, are hoping to earn their respective places in history by advancing through the qualifying stage matches to FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™. The El Salvador National Team has competed in the World Cup twice; while the Guatemala National Team has never qualified for the World Cup. For both clubs, the expectations are high and the stakes are higher.

Veteran soccer analyst Sammy Sadovnik and former Mexican national soccer team superstar Carlos Hermosillo will make the call for Thursday night's El Salvador vs. St. Kitts & Nevis match. Then on Friday night, Sammy returns to the booth with former Chivas de Guadalajara soccer star Manuel Sol to announce the game.

Viewers can check their local TV listings, or visit www.nbcuniverso.com/encuentra, to find channel information for NBC UNIVERSO on their cable, satellite and telco systems.
