According to The Hollywood Reporter, Maya Rudolph will reunite with her former SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE co-stars, Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler, in Jason Moore's upcoming comedy THE NEST.

In the film, Rudolph "will play a childhood friend of the duo, who portray sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. They decide to throw one final rager in the house, which turns into a cathartic experience for a bunch of ground-down adults."

THE NEST will hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015, going up against J.J. Abrams' STAR WARS: EPISODE VII.

Rudolph rose to prominence on Saturday Night Live, where she was a cast member from 2000 to 2007. She has also starred in a number of films such as Idiocracy (2006), Away We Go (2009), Grown Ups (2010), Bridesmaids(2011), and Grown Ups 2 (2013). She starred as Ava Alexander in the NBC sitcom Up All Night from 2011 to 2013.

The last time the comic duo co-starred on the big screen was in 2004's 'Mean Girls.' Shooting is scheduled to get underway mid-June on location in New York.

Poehler was a cast member on the NBC television show Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 2001 to 2008. In 2004, she became the co-anchor of the Weekend Update sketch along with her friend and colleague Tina Fey. Poehler's work on SNL earned her two Primetime Emmy Awardnominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Since 2009, she has starred as Leslie Knope in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, and received the 2014 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series. She is also an eight-timeEmmy Award nominee.
